Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions is a division of Overhead Door Corporation. With three manufacturing locations, multiple service locations, and more than 200 value-adding distribution partners across North America, Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions addresses a broad range of pedestrian specialty door and access applications under the brands Horton Automatics, Won-Door, FLEX by Horton and Door Services Corporation.

Horton developed the first automatic sliding door sold in America 1960, which solved the issues of swing doors in Corpus Christi's windy conditions. This invention forever revolutionized pedestrian access. Today, Horton provides engineered access solutions with an intense focus on delivered quality, a broad and customizable product portfolio, innovative applications and best local installation and service. We enhance the safety, security, convenience and style of commercial, institutional and transit facilities worldwide. To provide an even greater range of product options for architects and specifiers, Horton added the FLEX™ by Horton line, a diverse, value-conscious product portfolio that delivers impressive versatility and convenience at an optimal price point for select projects. 


Won-Door was founded in 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah and became part of Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions in 2021. Leveraging  our founder's experience selling insulated storm windows, we developed a two-track folding partition. The door was so revolutionary, that it led a customers to suggest Won-Door as the company name -– “because this door is truly WONDERFUL.”

Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions is a division of Overhead Door Corporation. Overhead Door invented the first upward-acting door in 1921 and the first electric door opener in 1926. Today, Overhead Door continues to be the industry leader through the strength of their product innovation, superior craftsmanship and outstanding customer support.
